Now, for the first time, Christina is ready to go solo with her own songs, following her calling in her own way. Her debut single, “Tokyo”, is about just that - taking the step into the unknown and going to the place where you feel most free and at home, even if it's challenging. The song really embodies following the dream.
Christina started her music career at a young age. At 12-years old she entered and came in 3rd in the Norwegian televised music competition for children, ”Melodi Grand Prix Junior”, in Oslo Spektrum, singing in the duo Ceejays.
At age 14 she was one of the lead singers in the band Daisy, with songs written by Espen Lind and Amund Bjørklund, managed by the renowned manager Jan Fredrik Karlsen. The band got signed to the label Nebula Music which was run by the songwriter and hit-producer duo, Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen at StarGate. Their debut single, ”Weird”, came in 2nd in the Norwegian music chart, ”VG-lista”, and held the leading spot for many weeks in the Norwegian music video tv-program, ”Svisj”. At age 17 Christina entered ”Melodi Grand Prix” (Eurovision Song Contest) again in the duo Foxy, singing the song ”Do it again”, written by Hanne Sørvaag. Christina spent her late teens singing and dancing in various projects.
